Why fit in when you were born to stand out.

I am a wife, teacher and mother of four. I never felt comfortable in my body, always thinking that if I was thinner then everything would be right with the world. I started my first diet at the age of 12 and am only just now learning how to eat without following a set plan. For a long time I thought body confidence was wearing your bikini to the beach/pool. How wrong was I? Body confidence is more than how you look, it’s how you feel. If you need to wear a sarong/shirt/shorts to the beach, you rock it. Body confidence is more about getting out there and not missing out on opportunities that life throws at you. I am still a work in progress on the body loving journey, but I am loving every moment of it.
