About me:
I am Elaine Ross from the U.K. I’ve recently set up my own business as a Virtual Assistant and I also work part-time as a fitness class instructor. During the past few years I’ve increasingly become concerned about the constant pressure from the fashion and fitness industry to look a certain way, and noticed that more and more of my friends were dissatisfied with their bodies. Almost all of them were on some sort of diet at one time or another and used exercise as punishment rather than for pleasure. When I found out about the Body Image Movement I was delighted and went to see Embrace as soon as I could. Now I’m a huge advocate of body loving and actively reach out to my participants to spread the word at the classes I teach.
