Body image is the number one issue affecting our gorgeous kids – and we think this needs to change! Our mission is to educate young people to Embrace their bodies and love who they are, inside and out, with the introduction of our (first ever) children’s book, Embrace Your Body.
Based on the iTunes #1 hit children’s song “Embrace”, this beautifully illustrated book is aimed at early learners and provides an opportunity for parents, carers and teachers to help children build a foundation of positive body image values based on moving, respecting and enjoying their bodies.
Embrace Your Body is a must-have book for every home and school throughout Australia.
We salute you and all that you do! We would love for you to share the Embrace book and song in your classroom. It is suitable for all children in primary school, from Foundation to Year 6. The book fits within several areas of the Health and Physical Education Curriculum including Food and Nutrition, Health Benefits of Physical Activity, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Relationships and Sexuality, and Safety.

Parenting has its ups and downs, and we are all just doing our best, but there are some approaches that are more beneficial than others when it comes to developing a positive body image.
Dr Zali Yager, Associate Professor in Health and Education, and Taryn Brumfitt, founder of the Body Image Movement, have created a range of resources for parents to help raise confident and happy children. You can find them over at The Embrace Hub.
